• Search for lawful, responsible purposes.
• Review your own public footprint and whether your details appear in known public exposure indexes.
• Explore possible face matches and exposure indicators with honesty and care.
• Export your own notes and reports for personal use.

You may not

• Stalk, harass, threaten, or dox anyone.
• Attempt to access private accounts or bypass protections.
• Use Gotchu for discrimination, blackmail, or identity theft.
• Present possible matches or exposure indicators as proven identities.
• Use Gotchu as a consumer reporting tool — including employment, housing, credit, insurance, or similar regulated decisions.
• Redistribute raw breach dumps, passwords, or other secret material obtained through the service.
• Scrape, overload, or disrupt the service.

Public exposure checks

Text and identifier searches may return public exposure indicators (for example that an email or phone appears in a known public index). Gotchu shows limited identity fields and hides secrets such as passwords. Results are not a full data dump and are not legal proof of anything about a person.

Enforcement

Violations may lead to warnings, credit revocation, or account closure. Please practice good judgement — start with our Safety page, and use Data removal if you need an opt-out review.
